AmEx Travel Booking Portal
Brief
The booking flow for AmEx Travel is nuanced in that the majority of users are cardholders who want to apply earned points to purchase travel. Therefore, ensuring that the dollar to point conversion is transparent and easy to use is top priority.
For this assignment, we included some minor updates that further support translating the points system to users during checkout. With an established component library and pre-existing checkout flow, our goal was not to reinvent the wheel, but rather to mitigate confusion around points conversion and encourage users to apply points before expiring.
